We’re one of three licensed drug-checking providers in Aotearoa providing community-based drug checking and the only one offering continuous services.

Our drug checking services are led and run by peers and are available in:

• Ōtepoti Dunedin

• Ōtautahi Christchurch

• Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington

• And periodic services in Te Tihi-o-Maru Timaru, Whakatū Nelson and Waihōpai Invercargill, Te Papa-i-Oea Palmerston North and Whanganui

We check drug samples and provide personalised harm reduction information and advice.

Over a 12-month period ending May 2024, 3329 drug samples were checked. 63% of clients said they would not take them when the results were not as presumed.
